Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the AI Readiness Survey at aistatusindex.com (the "survey") handles your information.

Who we are

The survey is run by Keynetica Consulting, Inc., Austin, Texas. Questions about this policy or your information: daniel@keynetica.com.

What we collect

• Your business email address, which you enter to start the survey. We use it to send you a verification link, and it is kept with your verification link, your survey session, and your survey submission.
• Your survey submission: company name, country and state or province, industry, number of employees, and annual revenue range. The form also asks for your first and last name.
• Your answers about AI and automation (for example AI policy, AI tools, automation tools, integrations, and collaboration tools). Your browser uses them to calculate your readiness scores, and we record the scores and maturity tier with your submission, together with your company's email domain, the survey year, and the submission time.
• An AI Roadmap request, only if you click the button on the results page to ask for one. Your email address is then sent to our contact form so we can follow up on that request.
• Usage data collected by the analytics tools described below, and technical logs from our servers, which may include your email address, for troubleshooting and security.

Why we use it

We use your information to verify your email address, record your survey submission, and show you your results. Results are recorded by company email domain and year, so people who verify an email address at the same company domain can see that company's results for that year. We also use analytics to understand how the survey is used and to improve it.

Your email address is never used for marketing, and we never share it without your express permission. We do not sell your information.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the survey. These tools use cookies and similar technology and collect information such as the pages you visit, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type, and the website that referred you. Clarity can record page interactions to help us improve the design. The email, name, and company name fields are masked so their contents are not sent to Clarity, your email address is removed from page addresses before these tools load, and we do not send your email address, name, or company name to Google Analytics. These services are provided by Google and Microsoft under their own privacy terms.

The survey also uses your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab, to keep the survey working and to remember how you arrived at the site.

Where your data is stored

The survey runs on Microsoft Azure. Your information is stored in Microsoft Azure services, and verification emails are sent with Azure Communication Services.

How long we keep it

Verification links expire after 24 hours, and survey sessions expire after 8 hours. Your information is kept only as long as needed to provide the survey and results, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices and deletion requests

To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email daniel@keynetica.com.

Links to other sites

The results page links to keynetica.com and to Microsoft Bookings for scheduling a call. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
